ANDRES ESCOBAR, LCADC, CCS

Andres Escobar has been working in the field of substance use counseling since 2000 and has been working as the Program Director at My Father House since 2015.  Prior to becoming the Program Director, Andres held various roles within the organization.  In his role as a primary counselor for Hispanic and non-Hispanic clients, Andres provides individual, group, and family therapy services. He is passionate about helping individuals explore, confront, and resolve issues in their life.

Andres's biggest achievement so far is his personal transformation, which has been a long journey. He came from Nicaragua in 1998 when he went to Rowan college and completed the ESL program. Andres completed his bachelor’s degree at Rowan University and he graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Masters's Degree in Addiction Counseling. He proficiently learned English as his second language and provides services for Hispanic, African American and Caucasian clients.

I began my journey at MFH in March of 2016 when I started my internship at Camden County College. Over the next 6 years, I  worked in various roles at the agency. I now enjoy spending time with my clients, teaching them how to use creativity to heal the soul, and spreading the hope recovery can bring. I obtained my  Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavioral Health Counseling from Drexel University, and successfully obtained my Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certification (CADC) in July 2021.

I have been in the helping field for over twenty years, but only in the addictions field for five years. I received my certification for Transformation and Addictions studies in 2018 and received my Master's in Social Work in 2023. I came to MFH in 2022 as an intern and came back in late August of 2023 as a full-time employee. I love working with and for those who need guidance. It has always been a passion of mine to help others. My motto is:

My name is Kathy Cleary Underwood. I started as an intern at My Father's House in 2017 and was hired in 2019 as a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor. I have been a nurse for thirty-five years and still maintain my nursing license. I enjoy working at MFH as I love helping people and enjoy the staff who I consider my family. We are a small facility, but our staff treat the clients with respect, and compassion. I have three grown children, one new grandson and my cat named Frankie.

Hi, my name is Susan Eden-Darnley. I am the Medical Liason at My Father's House. I started my position in April of 2021.
I became a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1993 after graduating from Camden County Vocational Technical School.
I have had the opportunity to work in many different areas of nursing including Long term care, Home Health and Medical Billing.
The past 10 years of my career have been spent working in the field of Addictions. My experience includes Detox, Residential and Outpatient levels of care. I work alongside the Clinical Team and the psychiatric Nurse Practitioner ensuring that our clients Mental health and Medication Assisted Treatment needs are met.

Dr. Joseph N. Ranieri is the founder and director of the Center for Healing Light & Integrative Medicine as well as a caring, compassionate family practice physician.  Dr. Ranieri takes a special interest in combining the best of alternative holistic medicine with evidence-based conventional medicine.

Dr. Joseph N. Ranieri is a family medicine doctor in Sewell, New Jersey. He received his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years.

Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse

Edena is a board-certified as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She completed her education at Vanderbilt University and has been practicing since 2016. She has experience working with adults and adolescents suffering from psychiatric, substance abuse, and behavioral disorders.

Edena meets her clients where they are, and together we develop a treatment plan to help them meet their goals and live and maintain healthy lives. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, attending her daughter’s sporting events, and traveling abroad.

I began my employment with My Father’s House in January 2019. I brought with me the knowledge I had gained from achieving an associate's degree in Addiction Counseling from Camden County College and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Rutgers University. I have a strong passion for the areas of mental health and substance use. Along with my knowledge and dedication to the field, I possess a unique personality that allows me to thrive in this field.  My friendly and humorous demeanor allows clients to open up emotionally and mentally.  I pride myself on my clients' never being judged and always treated with respect. My character and professionalism provide a level of much-needed trust. As I continue to work on gaining my CADC, I use my other skills to aid in My Father’s House's success. My responsibilities include Billing Administrator, Substance Use Evaluator, Case Manager, Compliance Officer, and Presumptive Eligibility Coordinator.

Hello, my name is Amberly Gable. I started at My Father's House as an intern in February 2024. I am a student currently working towards an associate degree in Human Services and Addictions Counseling with an overall goal of achieving my Master's degree. I have a very strong passion for this field, and I believe that my empathy, humor, and honesty go a long way in my interactions with our clients. My role at My Father's House includes several responsibilities that I would not trade for the world. I am currently working as our Front desk receptionist, our intake coordinator, as well as an administrative assistant and have been doing so since September 2024. I take my role at My Father's House very seriously and the best part of my day is when our clients walk through the door. Looking forward to seeing you all!
